International students can now work 48 hours a week in Australia.
According to the new policy of the Ministry of Education, the ceiling of 20 hours of work per week has been increased to 48 hours, according to the website of the Ministry of Education. This rule will start from July 1.
Australia is going to increase the duration of the visa that international students receive so that they can work fully after graduation or post-graduation. Currently, the duration of the visa that students receive for 2 years after completing their studies is now going to be extended. According to the revised new law, students who can graduate now will get a four-year PSW visa. Likewise, the Minister of Education, Jason Carly, said that Master’s students can get such a visa for 5 years and undergraduate students can get such a visa for 6 years.
