Pokhara Metropolitan City is going to operate an agricultural ambulance with humidification facility. Ambulance with free transportation facility is going to be operated to market the products of farmers in rural areas. The city of Pokhara has informed that the ambulance is going to be operated in partnership with the fruit and vegetable value chain development project.
Dhanraj Acharya, Head of Pokhara Metropolitan City and Prakash Kumar Sanjel, Joint Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development signed the agreement regarding the operation of ambulance service. The agricultural ambulance will transport agricultural products free of charge from the production-oriented wards of the metropolitan city through the collection center and distribute them to the consumer-oriented wards.
