The Government of India has provided 200 kidney dialysis machines to the Government of Nepal as a support.
Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava handed over the machine to Health Minister Padam Giri during a ceremony at the Ministry of Health and Population on Monday. About a year ago, the Government of Nepal requested India to provide the machine.
Minister Giri thanked the Government of India for providing the machine. He mentioned that Nepal and the Nepali people will always remember the humanitarian assistance provided by India even during the devastating earthquake and corona crisis .
Ambassador Srivastava said that he was happy to hand over the machine to improve the health condition of the Nepali people. He also expressed the commitment that the Government of India is always in the forefront of promoting friendly relations and development partnership with Nepal.
