Nepal beat UAE in the U-19 World Cup, Dipesh Kandel’s hat trick

Cup. Nepal has qualified for the 2024 World Cup in Sri Lanka after defeating UAE by 6 runs in the match on Thursday.

Chasing the winning target of 192 runs given by Nepal for victory, UAE was all out for 185 runs in 48 overs. Nepal’s bowler Dipesh Kandel took a hat-trick in the 47th over to give Nepal victory. UAE’s Ethan De Solja scored the highest 50 runs. Aryansh Sharma also scored 32 runs.

While Dipesh Kandel took five wickets for Nepal, Subas Bhandari and Hemant Dhami took two wickets each. Earlier, after losing the toss and batting first, Nepal scored 191 runs in 48 overs 5 balls losing all the wickets. Captain Dev Khanal played a half-century of 51 runs for Nepal. Dev played 84 balls and hit 3 fours and 1 six.

Similarly, Vishal Vikram KC scored 38 runs while Uttam Magar contributed 36 runs. While Dipesh Kandel scored 15 runs for Nepal, Hemant Dhami contributed 13 runs and Milan Bohora contributed 10 runs. Dhuruv Prasharan took three wickets for UAE on the bowling side. Similarly, Harit Haris Setty and Aryan Afiz Khan took two wickets each.
