Lionel Messi’s excellent performance led Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to an easy victory in the French Ligue 1.
In last night’s match under the league, PSG won easily 2-0 against the home team Nice. Messi and defender Sergio Ramos scored 1-1 in PSG’s win.
Messi gave PSG an early lead in the 26th minute at Allianz Riviera Nice on Saturday night. After leading 1-0 in the first half, PSG scored one more goal in the second half.
In the 76th minute, defender Ramos doubled PSG’s lead. He scored a pass from Messi. With the loss to PSG, Nice’s 15th match unbeaten run came to an end. Nice went 14 games unbeaten since losing 1–0 to Le Puy in the Cup de France on 7 January 2023.
With this victory, PSG has made a clear lead of 6 points at the top. PSG has reached 69 points from 30 games. Lens, who are in second place from the same game, have 63 points. Defeated Nice is in eighth place with 45 points.
