Easy win for Nepal in the second T20 against Malaysia

In the second match of the five-match T20 series, Nepal won easily by 7 wickets over Malaysia.

Nepal, which was criticized after being bowled out for 50 runs in the first match on Monday, showed a restrained performance in the second match.

Nepal lost the first match by 5 wickets. With this, the series has reached a tie. Nepal completed the target of 98 runs given by Malaysia at the UKM Cricket Oval by losing 3 wickets in 17.3 overs. Captain Ruveena Chhetri scored an unbeaten 29 runs for Nepal. She hit a six to ensure the victory of the team. Ruveena hit 3 fours and 1 six off 21 balls.

Openers Kavita Kunwar and Sita Ranamar shared a 33-run opening partnership. After Sita was dismissed for 23 runs off 22 balls with 2 fours and 1 six, Kavita shared a 30-run partnership with Bindu Rawal for the second wicket. Bindu got out after scoring 17 runs off 18 balls. As the third wicket, Kavita scored 26 runs and got out. Samjhana Khadka remained unbeaten in 2 runs.
