Landslides in Himachal, India, 16 dead

16 people have died due to a landslide in Himachal Pradesh, India. According to the local administration, 9 people died in Shimla and 7 in Solan.
The Shiva temple near Summer Hill in Shimla has been destroyed. Chief Minister Sukhbinder Singh Sukhu has informed that the bodies of 9 people have been recovered from the ruins of the temple. It is estimated that around 50 people were buried there. Those who gathered in the temple to worship on Monday were buried in the landslide.
Life has been affected by heavy rains and landslides in Himachal Pradesh. It has been raining continuously for 48 hours in some districts. Rivers and streams are flooded. Traffic has been affected due to road collapse. Chief Minister Singh has said that life in Himachal Pradesh is in chaos. They have asked not to go out of the house as the roads are blocked.
