Discussion between Prime Minister Dahal and Asia Rugby President Qais

A meeting was held between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Patron of the National Sports Council, and Qais Al Dhalai, President of Asia Rugby.

On Sunday, there was a discussion about the development of rugby in Nepal at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar. On that occasion, the president of Asia Rugby Qais expressed his gratitude for the support of the Nepalese government in the development of rugby. Also he was of the opinion that the Nepal Rugby Association has been holding the Asia Rugby International Tournament for two consecutive years and the project would not have been possible without the support of the government.
“Nepal has recently developed in rugby. It would not have been possible without the support of the government. We want to thank you on behalf of Asia Rugby,” Qais said. Prime Minister Dahal thanked Asia Rugby and President Kayas for trusting Nepal and entrusting them with the responsibility of organizing two consecutive tournaments.
“It is because Asia Rugby trusted Nepal and entrusted it with the responsibility of organizing two tournaments. The argument was that sports and youth development should be the priority of our government and myself. ”
